Fine Powder Screening Equipment

Compare tumbling, circular vibration, linear movement and centrifugal sifting against the material and target fraction.

Screening powder is a process choice

Compare tumbling, circular vibration, linear movement and centrifugal sifting against the material and target fraction.

Compare the separation mechanism

For check screening, identify the unwanted oversize. For classification, identify the required product fractions. The catalogue includes tumbler, circular-vibration, linear and centrifugal arrangements, but suitability depends on how the powder behaves. A rotor-based sifter and a vibrating screen bring particles to the mesh differently; they should not be chosen from circular appearance alone.

Batch, enclosed and hygienic requests need a process definition

A batch may enter from bag tipping, a hopper or an upstream mixer. Describe surge feed and collection for each fraction. For enclosed or dust-controlled screening, specify connections, extraction interfaces and acceptable leakage criteria; an enclosed photograph is not evidence of zero dust.

  • Sanitary or hygienic requirements concern actual contact surfaces, joints, seals, access and the agreed cleaning method. They do not establish FDA/GMP certification or automatic clean-in-place capability.
  • If automation is required, identify feed control, start/stop signals and upstream/downstream interfaces. Do not assume a standard screen includes a complete automated line.
