Filtering SERIES
Vibration Filter Screen
Review the liquid or slurry, separation objective and screening arrangement for a filtration application.
Equipment selection starts with your material, target separation and process conditions.
01
How the vibrating liquid screening process works
Vibration presents the feed to the selected screen while separated streams leave through their respective outlets. Viscosity, solids content, temperature and cleaning requirements are important inputs.
02
Define the separation task
Discuss the sample and operating conditions before finalizing the configuration.
- Suitable liquid screening
- Slurry separation review
- Screen and contact-material selection
03
Describe the liquid and retained solids
For a vibration-assisted filtering task, identify which stream is valuable and what must be retained. A low-viscosity liquid with occasional particles is a different duty from a settling suspension or sticky slurry. Screening is a size-based separation and is not, by itself, sterilisation.
- State viscosity at the actual operating temperature where known.
- Describe solids concentration, shape and settling behaviour.
- Define the desired condition of both filtrate and retained material.
04
Review collection and cleaning
The feed connection, liquid collection and residue discharge should be reviewed together. Check whether the proposed filter can be opened and cleaned without conflicting with adjacent pipework. Process pressure, sanitation and chemical compatibility require explicit confirmation.
- Provide inlet flow behaviour and available elevation head.
- Ask for screen and seal materials for the actual cleaning medium.
- Use representative liquid and solids when agreeing a filtration trial.
CONFIGURATION REVIEW
Specify the machine for the task.
| Selection item | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Series and catalogue reference | Vibration Filter Screen; match the proposed model to the table below. |
| Separation and screen arrangement | Define accepted/rejected fractions, aperture units and the deck arrangement for this duty. |
| Contact parts and interfaces | Agree screen medium, contact components, seals, connections and access. |
| Output and acceptance | Use defined material and quality conditions; catalogue dimensions do not guarantee output for every feed. |
Final technical values, dimensions and performance conditions are confirmed against the proposed equipment and application.
