Define the sample, target separation and questions a screening trial should answer.
Start with the separation target
Tell us which product fraction or impurity needs to be separated, how output will be accepted and the required sustained production rate.
Prepare the material information
Provide material identity, particle-size information, moisture and handling/safety information where relevant. Sample quantity, test scope and handling arrangements are confirmed for the actual application.
Review the conditions and results
A useful report identifies the sample, equipment, screen, operating settings, timing, output streams and limitations. The result applies to those tested conditions.
Agree sample handling and the decision before shipment
Contact the team before sending material. Sample quantity and representativeness, acceptance of safety information, test scope, timing, any charge, and return or disposal arrangements are agreed for the actual request. Do not send hazardous or sensitive material without explicit acceptance.
Use a trial request to resolve a specific uncertainty
Ask whether the target fractions can be collected, how the material behaves with the proposed screen, or which configuration needs further review. A useful record identifies the sample, machine/configuration, screen, settings, duration, all streams and the measurement limitations. A trial request is not a confirmed booking.
